Good evening! I need to get myself back onto my morning post schedule! Sorry, I totally blew my self-imposed curfew for today. Tomorrow it’ll be better – promise! I just couldn’t not share this exciting news with all of you! So I know I’ve been scatter-brained with all of the post graduation work, but I couldn’t not share with you one of the exciting events that happened. My cousin Nick got engaged!!! Yep, at graduation! He and Darcy have been together for two years, and the completion of his college career marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next. He asked me to capture the proposal a few weeks beforehand so I could make sure I was prepped with my sniper-lens. Fighting the mob of graduates and their over-exuberant families I tried to not be too conspicuous to Darcy… there pointing this huge camera at her with the biggest cheesey smile. It was very cool! They were surrounded by their family, friends and professors, who were all very excited to congratulate and celebrate with them. Needless to say I’m excited for them! & how often to you get to capture a live proposal??
Love you guys! I can’t wait for all of the fun things the future has in store!
We leave in just 1 week for our cross-country road trip to Atlanta for a wedding! I’m so excited! Any suggestions for our roadtrip mix? Make sure you stay tuned to the blog next week!!!
