Confession time. I’m a pinaholic. What is this strange word you might ask, well if you haven’t been introduced to my latest obsession allow me.
Pinterest is a way for absolutely anyone to collect their ideas into one place that take the form of inspiration boards. You can “follow” other people’s boards in order to specify/customize your style or interests, and their latests “pins” show up in your news reel – its sort of twitter & tumblr combined into this new and improved format.
You simply create a board, for example for a bride she may be starting the search for Spring Wedding Inspirations, she simply can “Pin” an idea from another website or someone who she is following onto that specific board. The pins carry the original content so all you would have to do is click on the photo and it takes you back to the first page it was pinned from, (which is GREAT for food recipes
). So here is my spring wedding inspiration board so you can see an example. It creates a simple way of viewing all of your favorite items in one place and you can easily tag other people, keywords and pricing for items. BRILLIANT!
I use it for pretty much everything, there are wedding planning, home decoration/organization, homeschool tricks, teachers’ aids, travel interests and planning, clothing… food! haha Pretty much anything you want you could find on here. I’ve had so much fun using it to plan the nursery and photo shoots, its all in one place and they even have an iPhone App.
So please check it out, its such an easy-to-use idea manager! I promise you won’t be disappointed. If you need an invite send me an email and I’ll get one to you. They’re still a newer website so its still be invite only. Enjoy!!!

& yes, and I have 43 boards as of today… Don’t judge me. I’m organized.
Have a great day.
